Beliefs ...

I think of so many places that I have found what I would call truth. These have ranged from consciousness studies, to chaos theory, to ancient manuscripts. To the wild flower, to the tree in the forest and the forest itself.  I find it in coastlines and clouds, I find it in traveling within, and I often find it in the unanalyzed experience of nature as well. I find it  in the word of God.  These things that I accept as truth go together to make up my beliefs.

Here are some of them.

I believe in God.

I believe in Jesus Christ

I believe in living transformationally

I believe that spiritual growth and service are what we are called to do.

I believe that the human change process, learning and education are all components that if done well are complimented and driven by  a process of spiritual growth.

I believe that all truth is God's truth.

I believe we can find truth in many places, but I am not a pluralist I am however an inclusivist.

A sharing of personal beliefs And worldview ...

How does one talk about beliefs? How do I speak from my heart and not leave out my head?  The following is a brief outline of some general concepts that I try to use to guide my life, I am not always successful at it. 

I don't believe in imposing my beliefs on anyone, but rather inviting people to them. I do believe in making decisions 7 days a week based on those beliefs.

I believe there is way more to reality than we can perceive with 5 senses.

I believe there is a spiritual reality as well as a physical one. 

I believe we have certain basic existential rights and that these rights go to certain basic dignities and respect in human life.

I believe the right to existence extends to all sentient life.

I believe we each live in an inter-dependent and inter-twined circle of life.

I believe that if for no other reason than self-preservation we should act to support, and help one another. We should questions things like the practices of genetic manipulation.

I believe there are plenty of reasons beyond this the highest being sacrificial love.
